About the hotel
Situated by the sea in the charming residential area of Sant’Agnello, Esperidi Resort and Sorrento Cooking School is a new concept in resort accommodation in Sorrento.
A refreshing change from classical hotel rooms and resorts, Esperidi offers new design apartments (studios and one bedroom), chalets, family rooms and standard rooms. Just one kilometre from the harbour and centre of Sorrento, the resort is set among fragrant citrus groves, and boasts a peaceful setting.
Esperidi features its own Italian cooking school, open to both the public and guests of the resort, where you can enjoy hands-on cooking lessons in English. In only one day you will know how to prepare a typical local menu with specialities from the Sorrento region.
Recently renovated, Esperidi now features a stylish lounge bar, a restaurant, a TV lounge with plasma screen TV and satellite channels, and an internet point.
When not exploring the centre of Sorrento or shopping in Sant’Agnello, you can lounge on the sun terrace beside the large outdoor swimming pool. Here you can relax in sun loungers and enjoy a drink at the poolside bar, open from May until September.
The Esperidi Resort is located in a residential area a few yards away from the sea and 1.5 Km from the centre of Sorrento. It consists of brand new self-catering residences and apartments (one or two bedroom) fully equipped with all modern comforts.
It is close to the main archaeological and historical sites of the Sorrento Peninsula and of the Amalfi Coast. The local rail system “Circumvesuviana” is only a five minute walk away and connects Naples (60 min), Herculaneum (50 min) and Pompei (35 min).
There is a bus stop opposite the main gate of the complex takes you to Sorrento, as well as the harbour and hydrofoil services to Capri and Ischia.
Swimming pool is open from May to September.

The resort restaurant is fully air conditioned and is open for breakfast only, from 7:00 until 10:00.
Here you can enjoy a continental buffet breakfast that includes: fresh orange juice (directly from the resort’s citrus groves), milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino, espresso, yoghurt, corn flakes, fresh fruit, fruit salad, fresh bread, cakes, pastries, toasted bread, a selection of jams, and fresh ham, cheese and eggs.
Lunch and dinner are not available.
Snacks are available at the swimming pool bar from May until September.
Directions
BY PLANE: Once landed at Capodichino International Airport in Naples, you can either use the Curreri bus that takes you directly to Sorrento city centre in approximately 1 hour ( ask us for the time schedule),or you can arrange for private transportation to pick you up at the airport (from 1 up to 50 people we can organize this service on your behalf).
BY TRAIN: Once arrived at Naples Central Station you can transfer to the local rail system ”CIRCUMVESUVIANA”connecting Naples to Sorrento in approximately 1 hour (ask us for the time-schedule and details).
BY CAR: Once arrived in Naples you must get on the A3 motorway Napoli-Salerno, south direction and get off in Castellammare di Stabia, then follow the signs to Sorrento. The brown signs “Penisola Sorrentina”, placed at the main junctions between Naples and Sorrento, will help you .
